Case Study

Design Thinking & Circular Economy Masterclass

Our client is a networking organisation that sought to share the insights of how and where design thinking, circular economy and sustainability converge to their associates.

Strategic Design is a discipline which helps organisations determine

  • WHAT to make and do
  • WHY do it
  • HOW to innovate contextually

both immediately and over the long term. This thinking is required as business looks to change attitudes and behaviours of customers and suppliers.

Design Thinking is a key element to the process of creating meaningful and impactful business and customer value.  It is a key methodology and mindset that can be used for product, process, business model and system level innovation. It brings empathy,  creativity, rationality and storytelling in how we create ‘sustainability’ and circular economy solutions into the marketplace.

Participants were immersed over this 2.5h working Masterclass on the key principles of strategic design, design thinking and how they apply to the circular economy. Participants were provided with additional tools, and thinking and how they can be practically applied in their organisations immediately.
